Ode to Malignant Triton Tumor

Oh Malignant Triton Tumor, god of the sea, you’re a sneaky little bugger full of uncertainty.

Take a moment from your sailing

and listen to me. %99 destroyed you left no visible soldier behind- but rogue cells are now our enemy.

“This is good news,” said our doc, “you should leave here uplifted”

But now you say perhaps Chemotherapy we will be gifted.

Our heads are swimming with pros and cons and  statistics inconclusive,

and a denied credit card from the parking valet felt a bit abusive.

Time to get out of cancer town and head back home where the kiddos are waiting.

Clear our heads to start a new to question and ponder

the cancer fun life may have in store for us up yonder.
